Control Solutions from GfA

Standard features of the TS Control Panel range
Tech Tips Video LinkOur sales team regularly face questions about the function and features of each of our TS Control Panels. It’s worth remembering that Control Panels across the TS range have these features as standard:

Easy to set up – the simple plug connection between a GfA drive and a TS control panel means quick and simple installations saving you time and money as an electrician is not required. Panels are plugged in via a pre-wired protected cable.

Watch this short video to see just how easy it is.

Limits are set from ground level for all digital limit motors – keeping installers safe and saving time and money on access equipment.

Inbuilt maintenance counter allowing you to set a regular service schedule as required by the latest HSE and PUWR regulations.

GfA Bluetooth StickSimplified fault-finding with digital display – pinpoint faults even more easily ensuring you arrive on site prepared.  Fault codes can be read without unscrewing the panel. They are displayed as numbers, not LED codes, so are easy for end users to understand and relay to you. You can arrive knowing what the fault is and ready to fix it, enhancing the service level provided to your customer.

For more help with this check out our Playlist on You Tube with 4 fault code videos.

Use the GfA Bluetooth stick for enhanced fault diagnostics.

Support digital and mechanical limits making them suitable for the refurbishment and new build markets.

Programme selectable output relay allows connection to and control of traffic lights, flashing warning beacon or air locking. The TS panels have 1 or 2 relays dependent on the selected model.

Self-hold run mode (available on the TS970, 971 and 981), when used alongside a suitable safety solution and Emergency stop switch provide additional flexibility.

Built to comply all panels are fully compliant to BS En12453 and mounted in an IP65 enclosure (when the standard mains supply plug is used this reduces to IP54).

5 good reasons to talk to Customer Services

Over recent months we’ve made changes to streamline the way we handle customer enquiries. In previous newsletters we’ve introduced you to members of the customer service team, but it’s become obvious that you may not always know when to speak to Customer Service rather than Sales or Technical.  So here are the top 5 reasons why you should go straight to Customer Service:
  1. You need to change or add to an order you’ve already placed
  2. You have received an order but there is a problem – missing items, damaged items etc
  3. You have a question about a delivery
  4. You want to cancel an order
  5. You have a product to return (either because the product has arrived damaged or has broken down)
Contact the Customer Service Team by email:customerservices@gfa-elektromaten.co.uk or by phone 01926 452452 option 3.

Product ordering checklists

Our Checklists for Roller Shutter and Overhead Sectional Doors list all the details we’ll need to be able to select the right drive unit and provide you with an accurate quote. You can download PDF copies of the Checklists from the GfA website.

Derek has spent over 34 years working in the door industry, the last 12 years of them with GfA, where he has been an integral member of the sales team. Anticipating this change several new appointments have been made in recent years which means we have a team based from Warwick here to help you with any product enquiries, quotations or training needs you may have.
