Awarded the Neuss Future Seal

As part of our overall strategy, we are committed to environmentally friendly and sustainable production of our products and services.

For example, we have equipped nearly all of our roof surfaces with photovoltaic (PV) systems, constructed our administration building as a certified passive house with 28 charging points for electric vehicles, and designed our production processes to conserve resources.

Our commitment also extends beyond the company itself: for example, we support the initiative “Ein Herz für Bäume” (A Heart for Trees) by Rhein-Kreis Neuss, through which we have already helped plant 20,000 trees.

Thanks to these and other initiatives, we have reduced the energy consumption per ELEKTROMATEN door drive operator from 7.7 kW to 6.8 kW over the past seven years, cut our CO₂ emissions by 22.3% since 2018, and are already able to generate 24% of our total electricity needs in-house.

 

Our efforts have not gone unnoticed: on September 9, 2025, we were honored as one of six companies to receive the Future Seal of the City of Neuss. At the Clemens Sels Museum, Dr. Jörn Böhl proudly accepted the award from Frank Gensler, First Deputy Mayor and City Treasurer of Neuss.

With this award, the City of Neuss recognizes companies that go far beyond legal requirements and contribute to climate neutrality with innovative solutions and strong commitment.
