Control Devices with Display

Sometimes it may be necessary not to place the control device for a door system directly in the operating range of the door.

For example, this could be the case (①) if:

 

▪ Access to the wiring or programming of the door control system should be restricted for operators,

▪ The door is operated exclusively via remote control or external control devices during regular operation,

▪ Special environmental conditions require the door control unit to be housed in a protected location.

 

Nevertheless, there is often a need for a display to visibly show status messages and other information.

Control devices with display

GfA has a solution now for exactly these cases – new external control devices with a display (②). They operate in conjunction with the door control TS 971+ from software version 1.3 onward (③) and indicate in sync on the integrated display what is displayed on the door control (④).

Products

The new control devices with display are available in versions with OPEN-STOP-CLOSE push buttons or with an OPEN-CLOSE key switch. Connection to the TS 971+ door control is made via a plug-in connection cable (pluggable on both ends) in various lengths, which is installed parallel to the sheathed cable.

Notes

The control devices with display will be available from 12/2025. All devices operate exclusively with the TS 971+ door control from software version 1.3 (from serial number/ID: 52121879) onward.
