ELEKTROMATEN FX

ELEKTROMATEN FI frequency inverters have been an integral part of GfA standard products (①) for many years. They make possible high speeds in terms of opening and closing the door, and they enable a soft start-up and soft braking, which is energy-efficient and reduces waiting periods. In addition, the door mechanism is being protected.

We now also offer a solution with a separate frequency inverter (②).

This concept offers the following advantages:

▪ Alternative to ELEKTROMATEN FI
▪ Flexible placement of the FX module regardless of the drive unit (③)
▪ Intuitive operation concept using the familiar GfA door controls TS 970, TS 971 or TS 981 (④) with selector switch (⑤)
▪ Plug-in connection using the familiar DES connection cables in different lengths (⑥)

Technolgy

ELEKTROMATEN FX consist of the door drive, a module with a frequency inverter, and a pre-assembled, plug-in 2 m cable. The familiar connection cables for digital limit switches are still used between the door control unit and the FX module.

Products

As usual, there will be a wide variety of ELEKTROMATEN versions to choose from with different torques and speeds (⑪). To this end, there are different FX modules available with different performance classes.

The new products can be found on our website. There are solutions for

Roller Shutters (SI) and Sectional doors (SE).

Notes

▪ The first ELEKTROMATEN FX will be available from September 2025..
▪ The FX drive and FX module are perfectly matched. The FX module must not be used with any other drive.
▪ The new drive units will work in conjunction with the GfA door controls TS 970, TS 971 and TS 981 and the appropriate TS XL variants.
