New ATEX door control generation

The door control generation TS-B is now also available for use in explosion-risk areas.

 

This means that the latest GfA control technology is used for the first time in the drive technology for doors in explosive gas-air () and explosive dust environments ().

 

The proven door control TS 971 is employed in both cases. This door control is characterised by the following new functions compared to the preceding products:

 

  • Change of rotating direction from control panel push buttons
  • Integrated OPEN-STOP-CLOSE control device with lighting system that prompts operator

 

All new ATEX door controls of the TS-B generation have:

 

  • Mains switch
  • Motor protection switch
  • Selector switch with digital display
  • Status and information display
  • Cycle counter
  • Mains supply for external devices 24 V (0.35 A) / 230 V AC (1.6 A)
  • Evaluation of slack-rope and / or pass-door switches

 

Variants for use within or outside the Ex zone are available as before. The range of functions differs in accordance with their requirements.
