Other Manufacture direct drives replaced with Safedrive®
Competitor’s direct drives can be replaced with a GfA SI Safedrive® with the added benefit of our plug and play system, no need for an electrician to hard wire the drive on site or pay a premium for pre-wiring.
GfA direct drives will replace many mechanical limit drives, providing an added benefit of low-level hand chain operation as well as low level controls. No more dealing with hand crank override at height.
The GfA alternative is often faster than competitor models – to take one example our SI 75.15 750Nm Safedrive® runs at 15 rpm compared to 10 rpm for known competitor drives used on similar applications.
Flange / foot mount motors replacement
Flange and foot mounted chain drives can be replaced with drives from our SE and KE ranges.

Replacements for Garog motors
The Garog DK/DD series direct drives are suited for replacement with GfA Safedrive® SI drives. Whilst the Garog D/W series flange and foot mounted chain drives can be replaced with products from our chain drive SE/KE range. The sales team at GfA will be able to select the appropriate drive for your requirements.
The most common Garog chain drive on the market, the D500 is easily replaced with a GfA SE9.32 (Ranger 90) shown here.
