Posted 27th April 2023: Customer Service Support Coordinator role
We are now recruiting for our Customer Services team.
Working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, the vacant role involves a prompt response to our sales order queue with the creation of accurate electronic sales orders and contributing to a helpful and prompt customer service response to a broad range of queries relating to their orders.
Candidates should have both Maths and English GSCE’s, grade C minimum/equivalent and ideally 2 years administration experience involving telephone and computer work. Less experience will be considered for a trainee role but this requires A level/equivalent education.
As with many of our job roles being able to work at a fast pace to high levels of accuracy is key, as well as having good team skills, a great telephone manner and an organised approach to the daily workloads. Experience of working in an engineering/technical environment ideal but not essential.

Posted 9 May 2023: Trainee Electrical Design Engineer
As part of our plans to maintain our leading position as the most technologically advanced supplier of door systems and be at the forefront of new developments through use of electronic control systems and software, we are very pleased to be recruiting for a Trainee Electrical Design Engineer.
The nature of the design work will be focused on the jobholder using their electrical and/or electronic engineering expertise to design full manufacturing and connection drawings for bespoke electrical control systems and being an office desk-based role, the job holder will also be in situ to be able to contribute to the technical support we provide to customers.
Applicants will need to evidence graduate intellect either through qualifications or by demonstrating this through the recruitment process and have formal qualifications containing significant electrical content. Previous experience including through study of using Autocad or similar to produce electrical schematics is essential. Ideally applicants will have previous experience or study of: PLC programming through Boolean Algebra;
Single and 3 Phase motors and controls, Frequency Inverters: the BS7671 Standard Requirements for Electrical Installations and: a general understanding of the EU Machinery Directive.
High standards as regards your knowledge and work quality are essential as well as good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team in a fast-paced environment.
