Double Award by IHK Düsseldorf

GfA received two honours at this year's award ceremony of the best by the Düsseldorf Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

On the one hand, the company was awarded the Aus- und Weiterbildungspreis (Training and Further Education Prize) 2017 by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and on the other hand, one of GfA’s apprentices was again honoured as "Best" this year. IHK President Andreas Schmitz presented both awards in front of over 700 guests in the Tonhalle Düsseldorf. The ceremony was accompanied by musical performances by academy scholars of the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra. Bianca Hauda, a well-known German radio presenter, hosted the Event.

The IHK's Aus- und Weiterbildungspreis is awarded annually to companies that are particularly committed to education and training. The GfA has received the award because it trains an above-average number of young people and enables them to achieve good and very good examination results.

Mrs Tara Prüß received the "Best" award for her excellent training results as a technical product designer. This makes her one of the best 273 trainees in the district of the Düsseldorf Chamber of Commerce and Industry. A total of 4,938 trainees passed the examination. After her graduation, Mrs Prüß took over a responsible role in the GfA product management. She will actively support the team in constructing variants and preparing drawings. She intends to start a further training to become a state-certified technician.
