New Apprentices give GfA More Strength

On 01 August, eight young people started their apprenticeship at GfA in Düsseldorf. GfA welcomed the new apprentices at 9 am with a breakfast.

 

This was a wonderful opportunity to introduce each other. This was followed by a factory tour to demonstrate our products and operational processes. The importance of future activities was also addressed. Later in the day, the apprentices had the opportunity to meet colleagues of the respective departments and familiarise with the future work Environment.

 

This year, the apprentices will be trained as warehouse clerks, industrial clerks, technical product designers and cutting machine operators specialising in lathe systems. The apprenticeship will last between two and three and a half years.

 

GfA has very experienced instructors and offers the perfect infrastructure for optimal knowledge transfer. The training is also very hands-on. The apprentices will take on important and responsible functions right from the start. This is an effective way for the apprentices to get to know the company from the bottom up.

 

From now on, the apprentices can look forward to eventful, exciting, but also strenuous weeks and months. With a successful completion, however, there are also excellent prospects for permanent employment at GfA. GfA will submit corresponding offers to all graduates. This promotes motivation right from the start and strengthens loyalty to the Company.

 

GfA is one of the most successful training companies in the Düsseldorf district of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and has received already several awards. For example, our company won last year's Education and Training Award. This prize is awarded to companies that train above average numbers of young people and lead them to good and exceptionally good examination results. GfA graduates are regularly among the "best". With this award, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce honours apprentices with excellent results.

 

The opportunity for personal development exists even after the apprenticeship is completed. Candidates can, for example, complete an extra-occupational course of study funded by GfA. With a high degree of commitment, it is even possible to obtain a leadership position quickly.
